Week 7 update, a weekly blog that doesn't really give you much information about where I am at despite me saying otherwise. Featuring such WIP images and GIFs trying to reassure myself that I am indeed on track...
Did not start backgrounds last weekend, not sure why, I think I distracted myself somehow. Not this week though, Sunday, LOCK IT IN! I will start some backgrounds.
I am almost done the line work for Camila, thus leaving just Tie and additional worldly animations like fire and background characters.
The fire might take a bit but the extras I think should be quick because they are not the focus.
I feel like I am constantly going in and out of being sick, my face hurts and who knows if I am actually going to make the deadline.
Next week is my 're-evaluated my progress week'. This means that I will probably be cutting out the 'Forest of Doom' scene.
Oddly enough I kind still think i can do that as well but canning it will give me some much needed breathing room. Maybe if I smash everything else out in a timely fashion, I will do that all last or in the future do it and make a director's cut... maybe not that one.
Anywho, I will be trying to also do some more sound recording this weekend, maybe at a farmers market or something. So I don't have to do it later.
Looking at my schedule, it simultaneously seems like plenty and not enough time. Does that sentence make sense? Who knows...
